Does PressPad Store offer subscriptions?
— At this moment it is work in progress but this is our goal to start offering not only a single item sales but also auto-renewable subscriptions.
Is there any governance plan for my own Store?
— Yes, there is. After registration, you are all set to upload your first PDF files. After that, you will be able to see your store in one of the two available domains your_store.presspad.store and/or your_store.readmag.online . This is your free trial. During that time we stay in the communication loop with you to make sure that your Store meets your expectations. If you decide to continue with us we will set up your payment gateway (PayPal or Stripe as per your requirement) and from this point, you'll be able to collect money for every transaction.
May the subscriber receive current and future issues exclusively, without accessing the past editions at the same time?
— The subscriber gets access to the whole archive and the future uploads, to the end of the subscription period.
Is this Store compatible with any computers?
— Basicly yes. PressPad Store is available on the latest Internet Browsers i.e. Chrome, FireFox or Safari.
Do I receive sales reports?
— Detailed reports are available in your admin panel. You can also connect and set up Google Analytics for your PressPad Store account. This way you will get access to detailed analytics including real-time analytics, for free.
Is there a free trial period available?
— Yes, there is a 7-day trial period. You'll be able to preview the store's functionalities, check how it does work, and adjust its design to your needs. During a trial period, you are not able to sell any publication online but all other funtionalities are available to you.
Can I have a look at any sample publication available via PressPad Store?
— Of course. Our own free publication called "Digital Publishing Guide" is available here.
Who is doing all the uploading – you or me?
— Each publisher needs to register a PressPad account and upload their publication in PDF format themselves. The control panel is easy to use. However, we're always happy to help you. Contact us if you need our support.
What if I want to resign from PressPad?
— Should you decide to stop using PressPad, you should contact us. We will cancel your recurring payment, but your online Store's reader will stay available to support your current purchasers.
I resigned from PressPad but my account has not been closed, why?
— In this case, your PressPad Store account will not be physically closed because we have to continue with the support for the readers who have paid for any of your publication. We do not charge any fees for such accounts, and you may always reopen them.
How do I get paid — via electronic transfer or PayPal, and when are the monthly payments made?
— We use PayPal for payments. PressPad processes payments during the week after the 10th of each month (when the sales report is generated). If the 10th falls on the weekend, we start sending the publishers their money on the following Monday. Please note that we process all payments with a month delay. This is due to the grace period for your clients' transactions.
